As a stationery designer, it’s a given that I love stationery. And for me, the pinnacle of stationery design and just overall brilliance is Rifle Paper Company. I love it so much I wanted to infuse Anna Rifle Bond’s amazing colors and patterns into my own wedding, while allowing room to create custom pieces that were truly reflective of myself, my husband and our overall vision for the celebration of our marriage. Read on to see how we did it!

Envelope Liners

I first introduced Rifle Paper as the envelope liner for our Save the Dates, which featured rose gold text (gorgeous hand lettering from Before Noon Paperie) and a topography pattern screen printed on luscious steel grey French Paper. I absolutely adored how these turned out, matching my vision and then some.

However, I also wanted to include a pop of color (and to start to introduce my complete wedding color palette), and Rifle Paper envelope liners were the perfect touch! I used wrapping paper sheets cut to size for both the save the date envelopes, and the colors were perfect for hitting mailboxes in the spring. I repeated the process for the  wedding invitation envelopes, which featured a different Rifle Paper pattern consistent with our wedding colors with a more fall feel.

Fabric Table Runners

One of my absolute favorite wedding decor decisions was creating Rifle Paper Company fabric table runners for the farmhouse tables at our reception. The colors were perfect for our fall wedding at Perry-Mansfield in Steamboat, Colorado, and allowed us to skip florals completely at our reception and create plenty of room on the table for family style dinner service.

Outside of Home Economics in 7th grade, I have zero sewing skills, but I do have an amazing BFF. She, along with her mom and daughter, spent a glorious summer day with me cutting, sewing and ironing these magical pieces (we made two runners per each width of fabric). The table runners were the focal point that pulled all of our reception decor elements together, and helped set the stage for a wonderful celebration!

Gifts and Heirlooms

Perhaps the greatest part of the table runners was that we gifted them to our bridal party, parents, aunts and other special folks to keep and take home. Thanksgiving was about a month after our wedding, and I was so thrilled when several people texted me photos of the table runners gracing their Thanksgiving table. It was such a meaningful way to honor and thank our family and friends, and to carry forward the joy and love we all shared at our wedding reception.

Rifle Paper also made perfect bridesmaids gifts. I gifted each bridesmaid a Rifle x Corkcicle to keep hydrated for the day (side note, Corkcicles also make great wine receptacles). Rifle Paper Tattly floral tattoos were also the perfect gift for my adorable flower girls.
